Purpose: Use Armano Chat to message coworkers, share files/photos, and manage conversations (including groups).

What you can do

• Start 1:1 chats
• Create group chats
• Search conversations
• Send messages and attachments (including photos)
• Manage messages: Reply, Forward, Reaction, Info, Edit, Delete
• View chat details: Attachments and Members

Start a new chat (1:1) #

Who can do this: All users

Steps

1. Open Chat.
2. Click the New chat / Add people icon (person with a plus) at the top of the conversation list.
3. Select an employee.
4. Type your message in Type a message.
5. Click Send (paper plane icon).

Result

• A new conversation is created and your message is sent.

Create a group chat #

Who can do this: All users

Steps

1. Open Chat.
2. Click the New chat / Add people icon (person with a plus).
3. Select multiple employees.
4. Create the chat to start the group conversation.
5. Send your first message.

Result

• A group chat is created with the selected members.

Send messages and attachments #

Who can do this: All users

Send a message #

1. Open a conversation.
2. Type in Type a message.
3. Click Send.

Send an attachment/photo #

1. In the message box, click the Attachment icon (paperclip).
2. Select your file/photo.
3. Click Send.

Result

• The message/file appears in the chat.

Manage a message (Reply, Forward, Reaction, Info, Edit, Delete, Download) #

Who can do this: All users (based on access)

Steps

1. In a conversation, open the message options menu (as shown on the image message).
2. Choose one action:
   • Download (for attachments)
   • Reply
   • Forward
   • Reaction
   • Info
   • Edit
   • Delete

Result

• The selected action is applied to that message.

View chat details: Attachments and Members #

Who can do this: All users

Steps

1. Open a conversation.
2. Click the details/info icon at the top-right of the chat.
3. Review:
   • Attachments (files shared in the chat)
   • Members (people in the chat)

Result

• You can quickly find shared files and see who is in the conversation.
